Heritage Poultry

 

While we have yet to start a formal breeding/growing program with our birds, we enjoy raising a few heritage poultry breeds to round out our farm.

 

Our favorite breeds are Delaware chickens, American Buff Geese and Narragansett Turkeys.    We also have a few Guinea fowl and Muscovy ducks.




Our birds free range the farm and sometimes snag a free meal from the hogs (that's a Dominique chicken below).
