Grass Fed Beef

Summer 2011 Update:
We now have a young Galloway bull that will begin contributing his genes to the herd this fall. Stay tuned for more info and pictures!
Raised on sunshine and fresh air! We are in the process of increasing our beef herd and transitioning to
rotational grazing. In late fall we do sell calves out of the herd
that have been raised only on milk, forage and minerals. If you are
interested in finishing your own calf, and don't want to gamble with a sale
barn calf, come to the farm and pick out one of ours. Our
calves are EXCELLENT finished on forage alone OR finished with grain, you
can do it your way.
Our herd currently consists of Angus cross cows, heifers out of those cows
sired by Simmental bulls, and the two sires of our 2011 calves were a
Simmental and a Simmental/Angus
cross. We plan to add in some Galloway genetics in our 2011 breeding
program to help our herd become the most efficient foragers and keep their
outstanding flavor on the plate!
Once or twice a year we may have beef available for sale by the whole, half, or split quarter. These are from grass fed and finished animals, no grain. When available we will post them here and on the home page. Our butcher comes right to our farm so our animals never have to be stressed by transport. Email us for more information.
